- In accordance with the rules of registration of invitations by foreigners and stateless persons to the Republic of Kazakhstan:
- For visa issue in foreign institutions of RK, the MFA of the RK or the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RK in a place of registration of the visa recipient or inviting party the below following documents and data are submitted:
- visa application form for visa receipt with colored, or black-and-white photo of 3,5 x 4,5 centimeters in size;
- at visa processing in foreign institution of the RK, number and date of the invitation registered in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RK or MFA of the RK (inviting party shall inform the visa recipient about number and date of the invitation) issue, or the petition of the recipient of the visa categories provided for in paragraph 25 of these Rules;
- the valid diplomatic, official, international passport of the foreign state, or other identity document recognized in this quality by the Republic of Kazakhstan and granting the right for crossing of Frontier of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter– the passport);
- the original of the payment documents confirming payment of consular fee or state tax;
- additional documents required for visa receipt according to appendix 1 to these Rules.
The documents issued by authorized bodies of the foreign state (certificate of no criminal record, document confirming national identity, diploma) are subject to legalization unless otherwise provided by international treaties in which the Republic of Kazakhstan is a party.
Visa application form shall be filled in legible manner by hand or using machine script in the state language, Russian or English in the form according to appendix 5 to these Rules.
Answers to questions of Visa application form shall be exhaustive.
Visa application form is signed by the visa recipient personally.
Visa documents for visa issue to minor children on their behalf are filed by their lawful representatives.
Photo, pasted in visa application form shall correspond to age of the citizen at the time of the document execution with the clear full-face image of the person, no darkened-lens goggles and headdress, except for persons for whom constant carrying a headdress is obligatory attribute of their national or religious affiliation provided that this person is represented in such headdress in the passport photo.
- The passport presented by the visa recipient shall meet the following criteria:
- its authenticity and belonging to the holder shall not raise any doubts it shall not contain any marks, remarks, records, erasures and corrections, teared out or unbound pages;
- shall have at least 2 blank pages intended for visas, except for recipients of visas for departure from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- its validity period shall expire not earlier than 3 months after expiry date of the requested visa, except for recipients of visas for departure from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
